The Faculty Deans and the Director of the Frankford International university prepare examination schedules well in advance of each semester’s designated examination period. Our goal is to minimise the number of students facing multiple exams on the same day. Any individual conflicts arising from the schedule are addressed with the assistance of the respective advisor, Each course typically includes at least one final examination, and quizzes or tests. Detailed course outlines and information on grading systems, as well as the relative weights of examinations and coursework, are provided in the course syllabi.
Regarding repeating courses, the last grade received is substituted for any previous grade, even if the second grade is lower. Students have the right to object to grades within one week after final grades are announced. Corrections to grades can only be made if a written explanation, along with supporting documentation, is submitted to the appropriate Dean by the Instructor and formally approved by the Executive Board.
If a student strongly believes they received an improper in-semester grade, they have the right to a formal appeal. The student should discuss the matter promptly with the course instructor within one week of grade announcements. If the issue persists, the student can present their case to the Chair of the Department within the following three days. A committee appointed by the Dean of the Faculty reviews the appeal, and their decision is submitted to the Executive Board for ratification.”
